  • Served as FEDM on complex assets, integrating subsurface, wells, facilities, economics, commercial and technical inputs to support CEO- and Board-level investment decisions.
  • Led Decision Quality processes for critical assets and rigs, enabling Renaissance’s first oil well and supporting oil growth strategy.
  • Delivered WRFM gap-to-potential closure, portfolio re-validation and volume assurance supporting production and reserves planning.
  • Led HSSE performance in the front end with zero fatalities and zero serious injuries across high-risk seismic and subsurface operations, including Shell’s largest OBN acquisition.
  • Established and led the AI Center of Excellence delivering MVPs (RenIntel, Predictive Maintenance, Pipeline Pigging AI) and briefing the Digital Council, CEO and Board.
  • Enabled value creation exceeding USD 550M through subsurface excellence, development optimization and digital innovation.
  • Delivered enterprise cost and capability optimization including approximately USD 14M life-cycle cost savings and structured capability development programs

Snr. QI & SI Geophysicist

Shell
Port Harcourt, Nigeria
02.2022 - 12.2023
  • Led the Seismic Impact Assessment of the HA field on the 2021 OBN dataset- Interpretation of key events & faults, calibrate seismic velocity, time to depth conversation, depth calibration, structural mapping, contact prediction, depth, and fluid prognosis sand distribution study to aid well placement.
  • Led the delivery of Shell’s new deep-water exploration bid (Project Maria), Gbaran gas cap blow down well place, Enwhe, Uze, Forcados, and delivering the First CCS project in SCiN.
  • Responsible for Geophysics QI and SI integration of Time-2-depth model conversion in the Bonga Nose, Bonga North and the entire OML 118 ongoing Rejuvenation project

Processing/Acquisition Geophysicist and Data Sci

Shell
Port Harcourt, Nigeria
05.2015 - 03.2022
  • Project Manager accountable for delivering high quality seismic image onshore, SW and DW. Delivered seismic processed data using high-end velocity model (FWI) building techniques and imaging for: Shallow water OML79 (RTM/RTang)-unlocking the opportunity to deliver 7Tscf of gas + 2.1bln stb oil/condensate (won the BEST Technical Paper at 2022 NAPE).
  • Managed End-to-End delivery of pore pressure prediction for Shallow water OML79, Bonga SWA PPPFGP (Project manager), HJK and HA wells in compliance with the Design Engineering Practices Standards (DEPS), which is one of the critical Process Safety requirements.
  • Collaborated with the Asset team to deliver an improved processed seismic for the successful drilling of Enwhe 10 and 11 wells.
  • As a ‘Citizen data scientist’ in the Seismic processing team for Shell Nigeria, I delivered digitalization projects using PYTHON including bad-shot QC for onshore seismic dataset and the novel SNAP/SNAPQC. Led an international functional team in collaboration with colleagues from Brunei, US & Netherlands to deliver a Continuous Improvement Initiative which includes DUMC seismic velocity uncertainty estimation, RMO-render for velocity QC/fidelity, SMART-nDI bridge deployment.
  • Responsible for the delivery of AfamOkoloma project– potentially delivered 100 MMscf/day. DomGas, Obele fields maturation with potential to deliver 394Bscf. As led the delivery of Angalalei, Ubie East; and Obigbo project through high quality seismic support for the business. These projects were aimed at optimizing appraisal/development wells, geohazards assessment and increasing reserves.
  • As a ‘Citizen data scientist’ for Shell Nigeria, I delivered digitization projects including bad-shot QC for onshore seismic dataset, the novel SNAP/SNAPQC and PICKASSO (in collaboration with Shell globe, yielding reduced delivery time and cost.
  • Led an international functional team in collaboration with colleagues from Brunei, US & Netherlands to deliver a Continuous Improvement Initiative which includes DUMC seismic velocity uncertainty estimation, RMO-render for velocity QC/fidelity, SMART-nDI bridge deployment and Velocity Calibration simplification for T2D conversion. This resulted to reduced time and cost while improving workflows. Performed geomorphologic assessment (Sculpting & Strat3D) of some fields in onshore Niger Delta for channel visualization.
  • Ensures performance management (Improvement cycle: Plan-Do-Check-Adjust, Decision Quality-DQ) of the entire Shell Nigeria Development & Subsurface function, improve, and align business goals though integration across delivery within and with other functions; using an in-house tool I developed.

ü Supervised adequate financial management/spends (CAPEX, OPEX, FESSEX- plan and execution), ensure Ethics and Compliance & HSSE outlook of the function is adhered to.
