- Undertake day-to-day health care services and periodic medical examinations for staff; prepare State House staff for travelling with the President, Vice-President by providing the requisite vaccinations, Malaria prophylaxis, travel kits etc
- Primary contact for immediate reporting of detected cases of designated epidemic-prone diseases to the designated local public health surveillance officers (FCT Disease Surveillance and Notification Officer) for investigation
- Prepare regular program and departmental reports, memos, correspondences, and other documents to the office of the Permanent Secretary, State House
- Mange Public Health program budgets and make budgetary recommendations
- Policy Development: Formulate and update public health policies and protocols in response to emerging health issues, outbreaks, and relevant regulations in the State House
- Public Health Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive public health strategy for the State House, aligned with national guidelines and best practices, to support disease prevention programs.
