- My responsibility was to supervise second level call-over transactions for audit and reconciliatory processes. The objective of the role was to detect errors, misrepresentation of financial figures, and proactive detection of suspicious transaction with fraudulent intent.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile E-Business Settlement accounts of customers across the E-transact, MasterCard, Interswitch and Visa Card Switching platforms.
- Coordinated call-over of posted vouchers to ensure that financial figures reported during banking activities match.
- Generation of SQL TOAD scripts used to extract daily banking reports for vouchers reconciliation.
- Review, analyze and correct dispense error as well as reversal of duplicate accounting entries.
- VRM- visa risk management allows issuers to decline only the highest risk transactions while optimizing approval rate at the point of purchase or wallet provisioning.
- This application helps in protecting customers funds as a top priority as fraudster get smarter and more technical the application takes more comprehensive approach to fraud detection and prevention.
- Special Duties:
- I coordinated a training session held by the Fraud Analyzer Team from the Central Bank of Nigeria. The objective was to provide a detailed overview of how Citrix Application works and provides protection to customer's funds by proactively detection and highlights of suspicious transactions.
- Notable Activities:
- Contributed to protecting investors fund by detecting a fraudulent transaction and absolved the bank of a liability of 6.7million naira in (2015).
