My most significant achievement in life so far has been becoming a Turkish language speaker before completing my degree and master's program. I accomplished this by defining specific goals for myself and remaining committed and focused throughout my academic career. I am currently a certified Turkish speaker and have worked with various Turkish establishments since 2008.
I began by deciding on a major that I was excited about and devising a strategy for completing all my prerequisite courses on time. I also took advantage of opportunities to get practical experience in my profession, such as acquiring a second foreign language, internships, research projects, social responsibility programs, and participating completely in student activities.
In addition, I maintained a strong work ethic by attending all my classes, completing assignments on time, and getting help from professors whenever necessary. I also organized study groups with classmates and used tools like tutoring to assure my academic achievement.
It wasn't always easy, and there were moments when I felt overwhelmed and questioned my ability. However, I persisted and remained committed to achieving my goal. I also have a solid network of family and friends to encourage and motivate me along the road.
Lastly, my hard work and perseverance paid off as I walked over the stage on graduation day, landing a job as an international student advisor at my institution and later working for many Turkish companies, where I gained valuable international experience. It was a genuinely rewarding and gratifying moment for me, and it taught me that with hard work and perseverance, I can accomplish anything I set my mind to.

I am a voracious reader. I read both fiction and non-fiction, everything from short stories to sagas, self-help, and business books. While I like to always have one fiction and one nonfiction book on the go, it's not uncommon for me to have several books going at once. I read at least a chapter every single night before bed, but on the weekends or a day off, it's not uncommon for me to spend several more hours reading
My favorite thing to do in my free time is to travel, and I dedicate a lot of time to it. I try to go on one overseas trip every year, but sometimes it is every two years. When I am not traveling overseas, I also like to travel at home and take road trips around my state to see other counties, and on long weekends I often travel to the next state over. I love seeing new places, so if I am not traveling, I am seeking travel inspiration from others on social media, always on the lookout for the best place to go on my next trip
My family is easily the most important thing in the world to me, and then my friends because of this, the way I prefer to spend my free time is to relax, socialize and interact with them. It might sound cliché of me to say it, but I spend almost all of my free time with my family because it brings me great joy and happiness to be with my children and watch them play and grow
