  • Helicopter Utility Aircrewmen serve as members of multi-mission helicopters operating in maritime and overland environments: provide logistics support; perform aircrew operations administration; conduct internal/external cargo movement; perform passenger/patient transports; perform aerial gunnery; perform small arms handling; operate Night Vision Devices (NVD); conduct flight/ground training; operate lifesaving/rescue equipment; perform observer duties for the safety of flight; conduct Personnel Recovery (PR) in all geographic and environmental conditions; employ specialized equipment to locate, access, and recover personnel and/or equipment from austere environments, including avalanche, alpine, confined space/structural, high angle, swift water, and open ocean settings; plan, coordinate, and conduct emergency medical care; and employ specialized equipment to assess, diagnose, treat, stabilize, and transport patients with minor to immediate life-threatening illnesses and/or injuries.

Mission Payload Operator (MPO)
  • Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Mission Payload Operators (MPO) serve UAV sensor operators, including Electro-Optical and Infrared (EO/IR) targeting systems, Radio Detection and Ranging (RADAR), Electronic Warfare (EW), and Signals Intelligence (SIGINT); they provide real-time situational awareness of the battle space to Area Commanders and play a pivotal role in Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), as well as aerial fire support and precision targeting missions.
