Attained exposure and deep knowledge of local and international organizations championing global financial access and adjusted to the dynamics and trends in financial inclusion space, which strengthened collaborative work between the proposition and its foreign partners
Developed initiatives and campaigns to boost customer adoption through Below the Line (BTL) and Above the Line (ATL) marketing and communication. Diamond Y’ello account currently has a customer base of over nine million accounts which clearly testifies the quality of customer engagement done.
Worked with Women World Banking (WWB) representatives in promoting digitalized payment of goods to manufacturers, on boarding and training of retailers to shift from cash-based payments to digitalized payment. This has resulted in a shift to the desired behavior and significant adoption rate.
Part of stakeholder’s workshop team which comprised the WWB, Diamond bank Financial Inclusion team, MTN business strategic team and other global leading digital payment group aimed at ensuring digital services work for women in economic development.
Achieved about 80% success rate through collaborative effort with the Compliance team, Internal Control and Technical team in ensuring Financial Inclusion accounts are fraud proof (though not concluded)
Active part of the team responsible for developing, testing and product enhancement of the Diamond Yéllo account through the implementation of Value-added Services (VAS) e.g., Diamond Thrift service, Diamond Y’ello Paycode etc.
Collaborated with Corporate Communication team on the Brand Refresh Campaign where we strategically re-positioned Diamond Y’ello account as a full suite financial service and not just for airtime purchase. This has significantly improved customers’ perception.
Worked with the WWB and Corporate Communication team to develop customized agents’ training app with features like live chats, gamification, self-test, and reward scheme to enhance agent education and participation. Also, member of the team that developed customized agent training video which is a step-by-step training video on routine transactions carried out by agents.
Actively participated in change implementation efforts geared at ensuring all Diamond Y’ello accounts are fraud proof. I also successfully coordinated a nationwide training of Diamond Y’ello agents aimed at improving product knowledge, customer experience and value chain digitization of selected Merchandizers with collaboration from the Women World Banking (WWB) Team.
