a. Coordinating all activities intervention activities of Malaria Vector aim at continous interruption of Malaria transmission such as Mass ITN distribution, Malaria incidence and Entomological studies, community mobilisation and sensitisation e.t.c
b. Responds to technical and service calls from frontline Health workers to improve Malaria vector control.
c. Working closely with the SMEP Manager to develop and implement the State Malaria Annual Operational Plan (AOP).
d. Facilitating and training of relevant Health workers and Community members on malaria vector management and its importance for reducing malaria burden
e. Attending trainings, webinars and Scientific findings discussions to improve my skills on Malaria Integrated Vector management.
f. Supporting the Malaria Program Manager in tracking the progress of Malaria AOP implementation and develop strategies for improvement.
g. Facilitating trainings and provide Technical supports during Mass Insecticidal Treated Nets (ITNs) replacement campaigns.
h. Develop report of Integrated Vector Control activities and submission for progress tracking.
1. Assessment of AFP Focal sites (Health Facilities) documentation for Polio free certification and collection of real time data with the use of ODK (Open Data Kit).
2. Assessment of the LGS Disease Surveillance Office and collection of real-time data with the use of ODK
a. Annual training of Clinicians, PPMVs and Community Informants on Integrated Disease Surveillance and Response (IDSR) and the use of surveillance data collection tools.
b. Access levels of adherence to surveillance guidelines and documentation of surveillance tools by frontline health care workers
c. Collection of relevant data from the Local Government Disease Surveillance officers and fronline health facilities for assessment to validate Polio Eradication.
d. Debriefing and submission of reports to WHO
