  • Driving Agricultural Value Chain Sustainability and Production towards food security in Nigeria through the development and review of the CBN's development finance interventions in the agricultural sector, including the Accelerated Agricultural Development Scheme (AADS) and the Anchor Borrowers' Programme (ABP), which has received resounding commendations for its contribution to the nation's food security drive through improved agricultural outputs, and engaging over 5.2 million smallholder farmers.
  • Successful implementation of the Anchor Borrowers' Programme with the following outcomes:
  • Increased yield per hectare for paddy and maize from the traditional average of 1.5 metric tonnes per hectare to 4.0 metric tonnes per hectare.
  • Launching of the Brown Revolution, a CBN's initiative designed to revolutionize the wheat production landscape across the country and targeted/achieved increase in wheat yield per hectare of 7.0 metric tonnes in some areas, from the traditional average of 1.5 metric tonnes per hectare.
  • Contributed significantly to Nigeria's exit from the 2020 economic recession through improved agricultural and manufacturing production outputs.
  • Mid-wived the creation of over 12.5 million direct and indirect jobs across the various nodes of the agricultural value chain. Facilitated credit and attracted private sector financing for sustainable transformative impact on the agriculture value-chain.
  • Working closely with relevant stakeholders to increase agricultural production and yield.
  • Ensure sufficient supply of Agro-commodities through cultivation (Rice, Maize, Sorghum, Oil-palm, Cotton, Cassava).
  • Team Lead for the Rice Commodity Working Group from April 2020 to September 2021 - Nigeria almost achieved self sufficiency in paddy production.
