The Human Resource Manager,
Medecins Sans Frontiers (MSF-Belgium)
Maiduguri, Borno State.
Dear Sir/Madam,
APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF A NURSE
As an exceptionally, dynamic, dedicated and experienced Nurse, I wish to apply for the position of a Nurse in your reputable organization which was recently advertised as vacant.
I am a registered Nurse with the license to practice issued by the Nigeria Nursing and Midwifery Council to provide both preventive, curative and restorative care to people in need independently and in collaboration with other members of health care team. I considered myself suitable candidate for the above position because of the experiences I acquired from various governmental and non-governmental organizations with experience in the field of pure nursing practice, nutrition, community based management of acute malnutrition (CMAM), infant and young child feeding program(IYCF), maternal and child health issues, infections prevention and control and Primary health care etc.
Recently worked at the Stabilization Center NILEFA KIJI under MSF- BELGIUM , treating severely malnourished children with medical complications. Apart from medical interventions, we also provide daily one on one and group IYCF counseling sessions, on hygiene and infection preventive measures. These experiences have helped me to develop strong Nutritional, Health, safety and Environmental skills, which I see as being very important when seeking to work as a Nurse in your organization.
I am excited to work in this position, as it will broaden my experience as well as skills in addressing malnutrition in all its forms strategically, and provide a platform for me to contribute towards your set organizational objectives. If given the opportunity, I will introduce new and innovative solutions in managing resources, which includes the human, office equipment and materials; and ensure employees; partners and external consultants are compliant with the organizational guidelines.
Thank you in advance for your time and kind consideration. . I am looking forward to discuss my application with you.
Your’s sincerely,
Bashir Mustapha
