· Attend to routine matters concerning members of the Junior Staff Unit
· Processing of statutory paper for Appointments and Promotions committee (A&PC) meeting for the junior Staff Unit.
· Preparation for notices, draft and final Agenda for Appointment and promotions committee(A&PC)meetings
· Supervising the production, Collation and circulation of Agenda and papers for A&PC Committee meetings.
· Preparation of draft minutes of Appointments and Promotions Committee (A&PC) meetings and letters/memorandum conveying the committees decision to the affected persons.
· Initiating action towards the issuance of letters of appointment to newly appointed Junior staff after due approval of interview reports by the Appointments and promotions Committee(A&PC)
· Documentation of newly appointment members of junior staff by issuing and accepting their completed records of Service forms and preparing letters of assumption of duty.
· Responsible for other routine of Junior staff matters like communicating approval for annual leave, deferment of annual leave ,maternity leave, change of name, change of next of kin etc.
