Overall responsibility for the Finance, Operations, Admin and Technology Project Teams
In addition to the Finance, Admin and Operations functions, managed initiatives in the Group channeled towards executing its retail strategy
Led the process of defining and designing one of the Company’s retail products
In partnership with the Company’s Business partner, led the Team that ensured seamless technology integration and product delivery
Designed and implemented processes to ensure operational efficiency
Conducted a review of the Company’s operational processes in a bid to improve operational efficiency within the organization. This included identification of processes that required improvement through automation of processes amongst others
Technology solutions were deployed to improve some of these through improved reporting, deployment of a CRM tool amongst others
Lead the Team responsible for the delivery of the Company’s digital platform for financial products for the retail segment.

Financial reporting
Delivered timely and relevant reports with the Team for Management’s use monthly and as may be required
The monthly reporting timeline for the Group was improved to two days post month end
Planning coordination of the Group’s annual statutory audit and ensured the Team achieved timely delivery of the Group’s IFRS compliant Financial Statements before regulatory timelines for submission
Financial reports for Board packs on the Group’s performance and presented same at Board meetings
Engagement with the Regulators of the Group, namely, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the Securities and Exchange Commission
In addition to ensuring timely submission of financial reports, I engaged the Regulators from time to time on regulatory issues affecting the Company
Financial budgeting and planning
Coordination and preparation of the annual financial budget in with the Company’s business objectives
Worked with Management Team to develop, monitor performance against budget obtaining valid justifications for deviations from the Board approved budget where necessary
Tax planning and management
I planned the Group’s tax affairs with Management and the Tax Consultants, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and provisions and engage tax authorities at all levels
I represented the Group in engagements with the Tax authorities during desk reviews, audits and resolution meetings on tax issues
Treasury Management
Management of the Group’s portfolio of financial assets, ensuring a reasonable balance between liquidity and profitability on investments
I engaged Treasury departments of various financial institutions on investments in money market instruments and other investment outlets that may be available from time to time
Key Member of the Group’s Asset and Liability Management Committee
Strategy
As a member of the Management Team, I was involved in formulating the Group’s strategic direction and supporting initiatives
I reviewed various strategic options and advised Management from time to time
