The Youth Advocacy Against Civil Unrest In Nigeria, also known as YAACUIN, is a Corporate Affairs Commission CAC-registered (CAC/IT/NO 128644) and a Special Control Unit Against Money Laundering SCUML-certified (RN:SC 151407855) independent, non-governmental, non-sectarian, and strictly non-profit, pan-Nigerian Youth Organisation committed to promoting National Peace and Positive Youth Development in Nigeria. YAACUIN is my part time initiative at giving back to society.

Achievements and Responsibilities:

• Plan and strategise for effective conduct of YAACUIN’s Seminars, Workshops, Symposia, Conferences, Social Research, Presentations and Model Demonstrations as veritable means of dissuading fellow Nigerian youth from social vices.
• Inculcate sound moral values in Youth via moral suasion sessions in Schools and religious places.
• Promote inter-faith and intercultural tolerance among Nigerian Youth for national peace and positive youth development.
• Provide Mass Advocacy sensitization for love of country and national orientation among children and youth.
• Promote Educational/Career Counseling, Youth Skills Acquisition and Empowerment, as well as Sports Talent Development.
• Secured the approval of Authorities of the National Youth Service Corps NYSC and trained Corps members on a one-week programme on “Anti-electoral violence”.
• Led YAACUIN team to complete a quarterly social research (Q4 2018), on “Drug/Substance Abuse among Nigerian Youth - Addressing the Challenges”.
• Designed, with pictorials, and produced 5,000 copies of an Anti-Drug Abuse ne exercise book and donated free of charge to the Niger State Government through the sponsorship of the youth-friendly Executive Secretary of the Federal Capital Development Authority FCDA, Engr. Umar Gambo, in combating the menace of drug abuse among Nigerian children and youth.
• Successfully organized YAACUIN’s maiden National Youth Security Seminar held on the 24th of January 2019 in BAZE University Abuja, preparatory to the 2019 general election on which occasion Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff was Guest Speaker.
• Establish positive working relationship with team mates through regular communication and effective anticipation of feedback.
• Source funds and oversee logistics for projects with minimal input.
• Lead Comprehensive training for Facilitators.
• Make YAACUIN’s Social Research Results available to government and decision makers for policy making uses

Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC is a para-military agency of the Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria that is commissioned to provide measures against threat and any form of attack or disaster against the nation and its citizenry.

Duties and Achievements:

• Prioritised National Security, Safety, and Safeguards of citizens and critical national assets, including oil and gas installations, via due diligence to service in all assignments and postings.
• Successfully supervised numerous operational Beats in Abuja -the Federal Capital Territory FCT, including beats within the Presidential Villa.
• Worked successfully across 5 distinct units of the FCT Command namely: Operations, Special Duties, Disaster Management, Counter-Terrorism, and Critical Infrastructure Units.
• Participated actively in national assignments such as maintaining peace and order during elections, national emergencies and other special duty deployments.
• Successfully worked with my team and other sister security agencies during the COVID-19 national emergency and lock-down duties.
• Encouraged punctuality and timeliness in the execution of delegated assignments.
• Promoted harmonious working relations with subordinates and all officers and men in my teams.
• Maintained active reportage with the Command and management of all other locations of deployment.
• Received due commendations for hard work in the form of career Promotion officially from the National Headquarters of the NSCDC and the Federal Ministry of Interior three times in 10 years.
