  • Optimization of the cloud server resources to go in-line with the current needs of the organization.
  • Setting up of a staging server to ensure a more smooth process from test to deployment of customized modules.
  • Performing a feasibility assessment and report on the required intranet and internet bandwidth required by internal users across the different company sites spread across Nigeria.
  • Company’s website: http://www.conceptgroup-ng.com Location: Lagos 2.

Additional Information

  • Management was able to have access to dozens of reports, in real-time and with advanced filtering options. Implemented a predictive dialer Linux script that allows the call center to operate high-volume outbound campaigns and also allows progressive calls. In predictive mode, the dialer calculates the required volume of calls depending on the lines, available agents and the talk time of the calls. In progressive mode, the dialer makes the calls based on agents available to take them. Designed teams made up of several agents and a supervisor, allowing group-based reports and filtering to review the performance of the agent per supervisor, thus making the campaign management independent from each supervisor, and providing management with greater ease along with detailed information to meet set goals. Company’s website: http://www.conceptgroup-ng.com Location: Lagos 3. I did a network infrastructure upgrade at ITEX Integrated Services (2019). Before my joining ITEX, the initial bandwidth capacity was 100Mbps. This was upgraded to 10Gbps. Which resulted in drop in the percentage of failed POS online transactions from 10% to less than 2% daily. Redesigned the network infrastructure, replacing bottle-necks by doing the following: Replacing the megabit switches in the network with gigabit switches. Segmenting the network in compliance with PCI DSS recommendation. This was achieved using a layer3 switching devices Created DMZ zones and controlled the flow of traffic through the use of a UTM device. Implementation of a link aggregation on the servers ensuring that the overall bandwidth capacity of the servers is quadrupled. Disaster recovery and automated failover deployments. Created Virtualization roadmap to reduce physical server count by 60%, and save ongoing annual savings of N35, 000, 000 by the virtualization of 20 servers. Defined requirements for a new help-desk ticketing program that improved overall reporting and visibility of operational performance metrics. Company’s website: https://www.iisysgroup.com Location: Lagos 4. Implementation of CRM and Call center Solutions for ITEX Integrated Services. The goal of the project was to ensure that existing customers and potential customers can access the company through multiple communication channel. Ticket, Emails, Chats, Calls, Generate a thread conversation. This and many more were implemented on https://www.iisysgroup.com/contact-us Replaced existing pabx system with IP VOIP Pbx. Leveraging on the existing infrastructure at reduced cost through the use of free softphones. Created an auto-response when customers call the office line. And the ability for outside callers to reach intended extension numbers directly. Implemented a multi-site VOIP system. Interconnecting the various office locations thereby bring down telecommunication cost. I took this to the next level by implementing the mobility features available within the Asterix VOIP system by ensuring staffs can download softphone apps on the mobile and continue using the extension even when out of office. I was able to achieve N4, 500, 000 in reduced project cost via hands-on deployment of the VOIP solution instead of outsourcing the project. Company’s website: https://www.iisysgroup.com Location: Lagos 5. IT Infrastructure at Bizzdesk Group (2017): As this infrastructure was geared towards financials (GoPay), and IGR collections for States. Security was a key priority in my design to ensure that customers’ data and transaction are secured. I implemented the following: I managed the setup the Entire Data center infrastructure in Nigeria. This took me about 3 weeks to be completed. This involves racking of 27 Servers of different models such as the HP Proliant DL360 G9, DL380, and Intel Xeon E5-2660V4. I implemented an Opensource SIEM, which helps to provide real-time analysis of security alerts generated by applications and network hardware. Recommended the Design configuration for the Servers hosted at UK. Created a Disaster Recovery plan, and implemented a failover via IPSEC VPN connections using a combination of Cisco and Fortigate Firewall devices to ensure that incase of any eventuality, Operation are not hampered. Provided and implemented the PCIDSS Gap analysis to ensure that the Bizzdesk Group becomes a licensed Payment Service Provider Deployed the call center solution using a combination of Grandstream VOIP server and Dinstar GSM Gateway. Via this, customers are welcomed via automated voice response introducing the company, and voice prompts. (+234 903 000 0705, +234 903 000 0706 and +234 9291 6788) Time and Attendance Deployment using ZKT devices and magnetic locks, this helps to instill the habit of punctuality among staffs. Company’s website: www.bizzdeskgroup.com Location: Abuja 6. IT infrastructure at ASCA Ringerdas Nigeria (subsidiary of Rubis-Energie, France). I implemented the following (2016): The job required me travelling to the different locations across Nigeria (Abuja, Lagos, Kano, Kaduna, Sapele, Bauchi and Port-Harcourt) managing the setup of the ISP at the site and configuring the Cisco Network device for the deployment of IPSEC VPN. This helps to ensure that staffs at these different locations can equally post the daily sales realtime instead of sending it as an excel sheet document to the the Abuja HQ office where it is inputted. This was prone to errors and probable fraud. Implemented the active directory using Windows Server 2012R2. To ensure the ERP application (Microsoft Dynamics AX) deployment, which requires the Active Directory to identity Management. I Installed the Checkpoint UTM Firewall at the Abuja HQ office. This helps to secure the company’s data from potential intruders and hackers. I implemented an all Wireless LAN deployment with roaming feature. This ensures that only a single SSID is visible. No cases of Asca-WIFI-1, Asca-WIFI-2 and so on, only an Asca-WIFI is visible to all. I Implemented an IT support Ticketing system that ensure that User issues are tracked via Mail, Phone and direct report at the IT service desk. This helps to ensure prompt resolution of internal user issues and guarantee an uptime of atleast 99.7% from an initial 75%. I installed a Network monitoring tool. This ensured that devices can be monitored, even as far as the number of time that the Internet has experienced downtime, and with this, the Account team can demand a refund when the internet provision falls below acceptable SLA figures. Using Cisco device implemented a Network Link Failover using the keep-alive feature that ensures that once Vodacom experiences a downtime, the uplink automatically switches to MTN Fibre without users experiencing any form of interruption. Company’s website: www.ascanigeria.com Location: Abuja, Kano, Sapele 5. IT Infrastructure deployment at NECO (Nigerian Examination Council). Team lead for the infrastructure work at NECO, Minna (2015). This includes the following: A total of 7 high-end servers were acquired. I configured, mounted and racked, the HP servers. Networked Agent Scanner devices to the servers. Initially students Answer sheets were scanned on these unique, high-end Scanner devices thenn copied via flash drives by the Adhoc staffs to the server. This was susceptible to errors and associated with missing result sheet. But after this implementation, creating a central data Repository, it became an automated process. Lead the team that implemented the Local Area Network Setup of the NECO ICT Center, Minna. This involves designing the LAN architecture, Setting up several LAN ports, to enable staffs access the corporate network. Also provided the WIFI facility as well for access. Company’s website: www.neco.gov.ng Location: Minna, Niger State 6. IT Infrastructure at EMEL Group (2014): This is a company into Export, import and Manufacturing with presence in China, Hong-Kong and India. I deployed the following: Due to its multisite site presence and different locations. I was responsible for setting up the Video Conferencing equipment (Polycom) to ensure that Business leaders can always hold meetings successfully without issues. This helped to reduce travel cost, as well as productivity. I implemented the Active Directory using Windows Server R2 2008, to prevent unauthorized access to the company’s server and data. As well ensure the integrity of the Sales Records stored in the Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP Application. Configured Folder redirection and roaming Profiles using the Windows Active Directory infrastructure to ensure that users can log into any system and meet their Desktop as it was on previously used computer. This was very useful for the sales and marketing team, as it helped reduced the cost of getting Dedicated laptops for each Sales and Marketing team member. Anyone among them can login in with their Username and password to any system and find all their documents and files intact, even their desktop settings as previously left. CCTV Camera installation. The DLink NVR that was installed helped to limit cases of theft especially in the warehouses. A total of 48 IP cameras were installed. Installed the Office phones. Avaya IP Phones and for some other users Softphones were installed on Computer and Mobile devices to enhance office communication. Installed the Cyberoam Firewall (now called Sophos). The main goal of this firewall installation was geared towards allocating and controlling the way staffs have access to the internet. With this Social media sites was disabled to ensure that staffs focus strictly on work related browsing thereby ensuring productivity. Captive portal was also created to ensure that visitors can be granted access to use the organizations internet services it albeit in a controlled manner.
