Watching documentaries is something I have always enjoyed. I think it's because I love to learn, and there are so many interesting subjects out there.
I think one of the reasons why people watch documentaries is because they want to learn more about a subject that interests them. It could be about history, science, or just about anything else. If you are interested in something then chances are there will be a documentary out there about it!
I love watching documentaries. I think the most important thing about them is that they tell us a story. It is also important that they are not biased and you can trust them.
I especially like to watch documentaries on current affairs, politics, history and science. I like watching documentaries online because they are free and easy to access. There are lots of websites where you can watch documentaries online such as Youtube, Vimeo and Vevo.
One of my favourite documentaries is called "The Act of Killing" which is about Indonesian death squads in the 1960s who killed hundreds of thousands of alleged communists during the anti-communist purge in Indonesia after the overthrow of Sukarno. The film follows one of these killers who admits to having personally murdered over 1,000 people and shows him re-enacting his crimes using elaborate costumes and props from Hollywood movies such as The Godfather, Apocalypse Now, Rambo III and Jaws II: The Revenge!
