Mrs. Amina Yeside Hamza is an Assistant Director in the Lagos State Public Service Office. Formerly, She was Head of Administration & Human Resources at the Lagos State College of Nursing, Midwifery and Public Health Nursing Igando between February 2020- March 2021.
With over twenty years cognate experience in the various divisions of Human Resource Management, she has worked in different Ministries, Departments and Agencies where she has demonstrated exemplary leadership
in Human Resource policies implementation and monitoring along with a Consistent willingness to take up higher responsibilities within and beyond her Directorate.
Amina Hamza bagged a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Ahmadu Bello University, Postgraduate Diploma in Public Administration from the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON) and Master of Public Administration from University of Lagos.
She is also an Associate member of Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria ( CIPM), Member, Nigeria Institute of Management (Chartered), Member, Association of Human Resource Management Member, Merit Toastmasters International.
She has taken personal development trainings in Emotional Intelligence, performance management Communication skills amongst others.
A seasoned facilitator, trainer, and experienced Rapporteur with specialisation in managing dialogue and capturing proceedings and recommendations from Conferences, Seminars, Meetings and Retreats.
Mrs. Hamza was a member of the Secretariat on the Lagos State University Visitation Panel on the appointment of the 9th Vice Chancellor and also served on the full Visitation Panel of Lagos State University.
Amina Hamza is a recipient of Outstanding Public Servant of the year 2015 (Senior category) of the Office of the State Auditor - General and a recognized high flier in the State Public Service.
She also recieved a commendation from Envivo Iclass for being instrumental in ensuring the students of tge Lagos State College of Nursing attended online classes and took their exams despite the covid 19 challenges in 2020.
Amina was commended for exemplary Leadership by the Lagos State Head of Service. Mr. Hakeem Muri- Okunola in 2021.
Mrs. Hamza's knack for adapting to given situations above and beyond her scope of assignments or core areas of competence has been laudable and commendable with significant improvement in the productivity of the Lagos State Public Service.
