Amatullah Lawal Muktari

I am a licensed medical doctor with over five years of clinical experience spanning multiple specialties. I obtained my medical degree from Vitebsk State Medical University in Belarus and am currently registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria. My interests lie particularly in holistic wellness, reproductive health and population health. I have led community outreach programs focused on reproductive health education for adolescents and am deeply committed to preventive care and health promotion. With additional training in functional medicine and nutrition, I integrate a holistic approach that emphasizes the impact of lifestyle and nutrition on overall well-being. Currently pursuing a Master's degree in International Public Health, I aim to contribute to health systems strengthening and address the broader social determinants of health on a global scale.

• Personal Community Development Service Volunteer, NYSC- Sensitization program on sexual education and sexually transmitted diseases to students of Depowa Secondary School and Army Day Secondary School.
• Health Educator, Leadway Health Insurance- Delivered health talks and conducted health checks on ergonomic hazards and related issues. Promoted health-seeking behaviors among employees across various organizations.
• Antimicrobial Resistance Auditor, EHA Clinics- In an effort to lessen antibiotic overuse and resistance, I examine the organization's antimicrobial prescriptions.
