KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Actively engaged in the pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up of 100,000 Nm³/hr Hydrogen Generation Unit (HGU).
• advanced knowledge of hydrogen production technologies, specifically Steam Methane Reforming (SMR).
• Comprehensive understanding of working principles of process equipments such as pumps, Separators ,compressors, reformers, heat exchangers, reactors and associated purification systems, Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA).
• Coordinated with the operations team to perform leak checks and safety tests on pressure vessels, including propane and naphtha surge tanks and feed lines to ensure safety and compliance with operational standards.
• Assisted in presulfiding of Nimo (Nickel-Molybdenum) catalysts for the Hydro-desulfurization (HDS) process.
• Engaged in detailed process monitoring during catalyst reduction of the Preformer and Reformer to ensure optimal temperature, pressure, and hydrogen flow rates, preventing potential system malfunctions.
• Collaborated with instrumentation and control engineers to validate the correct operation of control systems, including pressure, temperature, and flow meters.
• Improved teamwork and communication skills through close collaboration with Expatriates (Europeans, Indians and Pakistans), Engineers, technicians and project Manager.
• Assisted in preparing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation to facilitate smooth operational handover and ongoing process improvements.
• Participated in team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve technical knowledge and operational skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of pre-commissioning and commissioning processes within a large-scale refinery environment.
• Assisted in the alignment and readiness of pumps for Mechanical Run Tests (MRT) prior to commissioning.
• Used P&ID to trace Process lines to respective equipments in plant
• Conducted steam auditing in the RFCC and CDU units to optimize steam consumption and minimize wastage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collected, cleaned and analyzed large datasets to identify trends and insights.
• Developed dashboards and reports using data visualization tools such as Power BI and Excel Pivots.
• Conducted market research and competitor analysis to support strategic planning initiatives.
• Participated in the preparation of weekly and monthly data reports for internal stakeholders.
