I joined Rotary International in November 2009 through Rotary Club of Oluyole Estate, Ibadan Nigeria District 9125 then. As a member, i attended the Rotary International Convention in June 20-23, 2010 which was held in Montreal Canada. I also attended the following International Conventions:
New Orleans, United States of America in May 20-25, 2011.
Bangkok, Thailand in May 6-9, 2012.
Lisbon, Portugal 23-26 June, 2013. and
Sydney Australia 1-4 June, 2014.
Sao Paulo, Brazil 6-9 June, 2015.
Seoul, South Korea 28 May - 01 June, 2016.
Atlanta, Georgia United States of America 10-14 June, 2017.
Toronto, Ontario Canada 23-27 June, 2018.
Hamburg, Germany 01-05 June, 2019.
The Rotary International Convention for 2020 and 2021 were scheduled to be held in Honolulu, Hawaii United States of America and Taipei Taiwan respectively were cancelled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The conventions were held as virtual events from June 20-26, 2020 and June 12-16, 2021 respectively.
I was in Calgary, Alberta Canada, for the 2025 Rotary International Convention which was held in June 21-25, 2025.
All along, i've also attended some Rotary International programmes locally within Nigeria and in some African countries.
I was the President of my club during the 2015/2016 Rotary year and i've served as the Club's Secretary twice along the line.
