• Preparing and file the company and its subsidiaries monthly NSITF and VAT
• Consolidate and review monthly Pension and PAYE computations for the Group
• Prepare monthly Financial Statements and schedules for Cooling & Fire Safety Solutions Division of the company
• Prepare and consolidate the group fixed asset schedule
• Follow-up disposal of fixed assets for proper documentation and posting
• Apply and process TCC for the company and its subsidiaries
• Attend LIRS TARC meetings and follow-up on outstanding FIRS tax issues
• Prepare and file annual Company Income Tax (CIT), Tertiary Education Tax (TET) & Capital Gains Tax (CGT), Industrial Training Fund (ITF) for the company and its subsidiaries
• Filing of annual returns with State Internal Revenue Services
• Consolidate and review the Company’s monthly payroll
• Prepare and capitalize newly acquired fixed assets and supervise CAPEX monitoring
• Review the Division monthly payables and receivables and communicate with the Service Engineers for prompt payments and receipt
• Generate online ETCC for Lagos staff on request
• Prepare and file annual transfer pricing declaration form and update necessary disclosures for the Group

• Plan, execute, and supervise audits and advisory engagements including independently gathering and analyzing data, verifying the accuracy of financial records, performing investigative research, gathering proper evidence to support findings and presenting results in the form of written reports and/or oral presentations within specified timelines
• Conducts risk and compliance assessment for various information systems with ISO, COBIT,COSO standards;
• Assist with budget reviews, quarterly reporting, financial analysis
• Review of all the Company's Management Accounts
• Spot check on the store department and stock count
• Run a compliance check program quarterly or bi-annually on all functions working with the functional heads of department
• Carrying out information technology audit, supplier's audit, forensic audit and compliance
• Review of bank reconciliation and customers ledger account

· CAPEX- authorization and posting to Fixed assets register;

• Planning and execution of audit fieldwork and statutory reporting across a portfolio of clients
• Project management of all aspects of audit including agreeing audit timelines, team briefings and supervision, and delivery of audit work Demonstration of excellent knowledge of audit of International Accounting Standards (“IAS”) and International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”) financial statements relevant International Standards on Auditing (“ISA”) key audit tools software, including Microsoft suite, V-Lookup etc.
• Attending to client's FIRS and LIRS queries and audit tax audit
• Preparing and filing clients VAT, Company Income Tax, Education Tax,Transfer pricing disclosures and documentations
• Delivering full audit, investigation and other relevant reports for review in soft copy with hyperlinks and other review tools and creating and maintaining hardcover back-up files
• Present in-house training, regularly, on relevant audit assurance, early adoption of new IFRSs and IASs and Tax Act related topics
• Budgeting and monitoring the financial performance of projects, focusing on optimising profitability
• Identifying, researching and helping to resolve complex audit issues Reporting to audit managers and partners on all salient points arising from audits
• Supervising and coaching junior members of staff to help them realise their full potential

Assurance Roles

• Leading Audit team on field External Audit Assignments
• Attending client's end-of-the-year inventory count
• Preparing Clients Management Letter/Domestic Reports
• Performing test of internal control systems, a test of details and gathering audit evidence
• Proactively Interacting with the client to gather information, resolve audit-related problems and proffer recommendations for business and process improvements; and Preparing Audited Financial Statements (IFRS Compliant) and Statement of Affairs

Taxation Roles

• Attending the Company's tax audit with federal and state tax officials
• Preparing Personal Income Tax and filling (PAYE and Expatriate)
• Preparing Company's Income Tax and Education Tax
• Attending to client Tax Queries from both State and Federal Revenue services
• Remitting and Filling of VAT returns and Withholding on behalf of our clients
