- I led a team of four to implement VHF repeater upgrade at four offshore sites with the central processing unit onshore using the HYTERA Analog Simulcast Solution system.
- This helped increased VHF coverage within our field aiding communication to surrounding vessels and eliminating blind spots.
- I worked with diverse functional team in different parts of the globe to deliver the migration from Cisco IP telephony to Skype for Business and today Zoom Infrastructure as part of company’s global standardization.
- Provided design input and IT support for security radar pilot project and the integration into Exxon Mobil production network. This enhanced security unit more visibility to detect and give accurate information to security vessels patrolling our field.
- I worked with global security team and global IT team to deliver security upgrade framework from Lenel to Genetec. This migration ensured that the organizations Business Continuity Plan (BCP) is maintained even during unplanned crisis
- I provided communication for technology functions and managing overall IT service functions driving company’s Technology strategy through design, build and bid processes
- I managed successfully a diverse team which upgraded the entire Exxon Mobil offshore microwave link capacity from 178Mbps to 256Mbps. This project ensured increase applications productivity, optimization and reliability.
- The microwave upgrade project exposed me to several offshore travels and better understanding of offshore needs, hence, better communication of their use case justification to business line.
- I work with operations team quarterly to conduct vulnerability test on critical network devices to tighten security protocol.
- I am primarily responsible for extending production network to support operation of Drilling rigs and mobile Well work vessels during their drilling and maintenance schedule.
- My team rolled out digital Terrestrial Trunk Radio systems (TETRA) to extend digital radio communication coverage across all Sixteen (16) Exxon Mobil production operations assets offshore.
