Technical and Manufacturing Background

I am a Mechanical Engineering professional with broad practical experience across FMCG manufacturing, production operations, warehouse management, and technical operations.

I spent over six years at Nestlé Nigeria PLC as a Production Operative, gaining extensive hands-on experience in high-volume FMCG manufacturing, machine operation, production processes, troubleshooting, equipment monitoring, GMP, quality systems, OPRP, SHE, and production-line operations.

I previously worked with Reckitt Benckiser (RB) as a Warehouse Clerk, where I gained experience in warehouse operations, inventory handling, material movement, documentation, stock control, and the coordination of materials within a structured FMCG environment.

I currently work with Perfetti Van Melle Nigeria as a Technical Operator, with responsibilities focused on machine operation, equipment monitoring, troubleshooting, GMP compliance, production quality, process control, and developing technical ownership of production equipment.

My industrial experience is supported by a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology and technical training in Electrical Installation, Repair and Maintenance.

Overall, my career has provided me with exposure to the broader FMCG value chain—from warehouse and material handling to production, machine operation, technical troubleshooting, quality, and manufacturing processes.

1. Packaging Equipment Operation: Proficiency in operating and maintaining packaging machinery such as fillers, sealers, x-rays for foreign bodies, check weighers, labelers, and conveyors to ensure accurate and efficient packaging of products.

3. Product Handling: Am Skilled in handling and organizing products, materials, product and case coding, sealing integrity, 5s and packaging components effectively to prevent damage, maintain product standards while ensuring correct packaging procedures.

4. Packaging Processes: I've the prerequisite knowledge of packaging processes, techniques, and best practices for different types of products, including food items, packaging materials, finished goods, or industrial materials.

5. Safety and Compliance: I understand how imperative Safety compliance is, regulations, guidelines, and protocols related to packaging operations to maintain a safe working environment, prevent hazards, and comply with occupational health and safety standards.
