Personal Summary Ayodeji Adeniji B.Eng.(Electrical/Electronics Engineering), MSc(Economics of the Power Industry), is a seasoned professional with wealth of first-hand experience that cut across renewable Energy, IT Infrastructure, Power Distribution Components, Power generation equipment, project sales, management and services. I am motivated and results-oriented with expertise in working at bringing electricity products and services to market for the purpose of improving livelihood of the people and profitablity. I have analytical skill in conducting business and implementing initiatives and strategies and am talented with solid experience with expertise in managing complex projects and solving problems. I am an experienced professional with strong leadership and relationship-building skills. An alumnus of Schneider Electric Nigeria; the pioneer engineering team member of the first ever wind power project in Nigeria for Cross Global Atlantic (10MW Wind Plant) owned by the Federal Government of Nigeria through the Federal Ministry of Power and executed by Wind Turbine company Vergnet Eolien. I was an industry based installed base engineering team for Schneider Electric Nigeria under the Business Development Manager Strategy and the Project&Services Department. I worked as APC by Schneider Electric West Africa Service Sales Manager, ITB and then to Task Systems Nigeria Limited where I was responsible for Overseeing APC by Schneider Electric Service Go To Market Strategy, IT business services operation. I joined power generation and power generation automation company through the Business Manager role for Deepsea Electronics UK, Terasaki Europe distributor at Hakman Engineering. I have notable achievement which includes the guerilla award by Schneider Electric, the effort which led to double digit market growth within a year and reducing the spread of counterfeit products. I am a trainer, coach and mentor. I have also been a speaker at local and international conferences where I discuss the issues and I offered solutions to emerging Africa complex energy problems. I coordinated the business in Nigeria with my Infrastructure Project Sales Manager role for Elsewedy Electric in Nigeria and their meter manufacturing company Iskraemco where the business has witnessed massive patronage and prospective recovery in Nigeria.
I have an MSc (Energy Economics) from the Faculty of Multidisciplinary Studies, Department of Petroleum, Energy Economics and Law University of Ibadan with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with over eleven years industry experience with global and local employers like: Finglobec, Vergnet Wind Energy, Schneider Electric, Task systems, Hakman Engineering and Elsewedy Electric working with Electricity Energy related activities in Nigeria.
I was the North West representative of Finglobec, a company based in Finland engaging government through renewable energy development with focused engagement with Katsina State government through the ministry of Works and Environment.
I was part of the engineering project team of Vergnet Eolien France that implemented the 10MW Wind power project in Nigeria, a project worth over six billion naira financed by the Federal Government of Nigeria through the Federal Ministry of Power.
At Schneider Electric Nigeria, I explored the opportunities and investment of private sector in Energy for Industrial development through laudable projects executed for industrial client ranging from substation developments, minigrids and distribution of Electrical equipment. I was part of an Installed Base Assessment team of Schneider that survey the Ibadan zone and Lagos zone of Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) before their privatization. I coordinated the Power Solution business relationship between Information Technology Infrastructures with Task Systems, a System Integration Company on Data Centers Critical Power needs and investment.
With Hakman engineering, I interacted with power plant automation as it’s key to power plant availability.
My team and I lead the revival of Elsewedy Electric business in Nigeria through the resuscitation of its abandoned transformer factory, meter manufacturing business following several government laudable policies like the National mass metering programme etc.
