• Nigeria on Partnership for Learning for All in Nigeria (PLANE)

• Tracked the cardinal fiscal and budgetary principles of Kano state administration to ensure openness through implementation of transparent policies and programs that will positively impact the lives of the citizenry.
• The Kano state OGP immediately re-invigorated the State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission (PCACC) and transformed the state Projects Monitoring Bureau to Due Process Bureau with the sole objective of laying a suitable platform for the new Government to operate with the principles of transparency and accountability.

Educating Nigerian Girls in New Enterprises (ENGINE) II Project DFID

• Successfully collaborated with the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning team, 47 partners’ staff, and field facilitators and oversees ENGINE implementation processes and effectiveness for sub-grantee partners.
• Revised and contextualized teaching and learning materials as needed based on learnings from field implementation, in collaboration with the state Ministry of Education (MoE) in collaboration with UNICEF-GEP3 project.
• Reviewed the monitoring, evaluation, feedback mechanism, and best practices strategies of Kano state Ministry of Education to be more inclusive in terms of planning and policy implementation.
• Worked with 4 sub-grantees and provided field support to Education Nigerian Girls in New Enterprises ENGINEII
• Coordinated sub-grantee activities during Teacher development days, pre–service, skills and income generation activities, community mobilization/engagement, advocates to government officials, etc.
• Effectively managed opportunities for networking within pilot community education centers and 35 girls’ secondary schools, and 61 out-of-school community learning centers. More so, increased target girls' economic assets through very low-interest loan access from microfinance banks using 120 savings clubs.

• PERL Annual Review & PERL (ARC & ECP) Medium Term Review MTR. The Partnership to Engage, Reform and Learn (PERL) is a Governance programme, funded by the UK’s Department for International Development (DFID) in Nigeria. PERL brings together governments and citizens’ groups to collectively address Governance challenges for improved delivery of pro-poor public goods and services.
• Coordinated field visits to PERL project sites (Kano, Kaduna, Jigawa, Ibadan, Lagos, and Enugu). Conducted KIIs/FGDs to stakeholders, beneficiaries, and citizen groups. Prepared brief notes on findings of KIIs/FGDs and contributed to report writings
• Defined and reviewed the lead consultant recommendations for PERL extension for improving the localization Governance at LGA level
• Prepared the final PPT presentation to DFID now FCDO and co-facilitated the presentation to DFID - Nigeria

• Strengthened health accountability systems by ensuring government and service providers deliver health quality services through public engagement.
• Provided technical support to Sokoto MoE and Local Education Authorities (LGEAs) to develop a monitoring and evaluation framework and adopt the use of software application for data collection and analysis.
• Strengthened capacity of over 500 community leaders and marginalized groups, including women and youth for their involvement in monitoring and supporting primary health care facilities in Zamfara state.
• Operated with local CSOs, Accountability Mechanisms, and local government officials to enforce a localized accountability system to improve health service delivery across 14 local governments of Zamfara state.

• Identified the core participation intervention areas of engagement and updated the state document of all identified social sector studies.
• Conducted civil society analyses in State (S-DOC) and neighboring/other States for matching of interest in their operations and engagement with state house of assembly and MDAs.
• Facilitated with TA Team and supported the state team to work according to components (Education, Health, WASH, Accountability and Fiscal responsibility) and identify the strategies for building relations with key CSOs, SHoA members, media, etc.

• Supported the review of inclusive education policy and assenting of Gender policy in Jigawa state under Ministries of Education and Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, respectively.
• Flagged up the community level women advocates (COLIWA) in collaboration with the Federal Minister of Education to strengthen.
• Created opportunities for the marginalized groups, especially girls, through the Girls Education initiative, Safe Spaces for women and children committees for school-level decision making and promoted voice and accountability.
• As Gender and Social Inclusion Advisor, I carried out outreach activities in the State related to gender and equity, out-of-school children, and social inclusion as well as community interactions.
• Strategically coordinated the participation of girls and women's safe spaces within school governance, reflecting women and girls’ concerns.
