• Providing cost control and cost management services.
• Preparation of cost estimates at various level of project.
• Engage in post project contract cost management support to aid management in making informed decisions at various value assurance gates, minimize successful contractual claims, achieve value for money.
• Contribute to company’s good corporate image, meet projects objectives and ultimately contribute to achievement of Cost Leadership in the management of PD CAPEX projects and budget.
• Calculating and booking of the Value of Work Done (VOWD), inclusive of the accruals among other cost deliverables for earned value management (EVM).
• Calculating the estimate to complete (ETC) cost of the Capital Projects and forecasting the estimate at completion (EAC).
• Prepare the capital Project delivery risk register.

• Support the development of the cost management model for the HI DUAL FEED project. This model is tailored towards performance measurement, cost tracking, monitoring, and forecasting from the defined to execute phase of the project.
• Preparation of the project monthly report, Business one pager and Progress monitoring to ensure KPIs measurement on the FEED project are met for OPEX cost.
• Calculating and booking of the Value of Work Done (VOWD), inclusive of the accruals among other cost deliverables.
• Ensuring that vendors claims and invoicing, satisfactorily adhere to the agreed procedure and company’s policy.
• Participate in the project performance defense/ budget alignment with other JV partners at the Gas Subcom level.

Execute phase with Group Investment Proposal (GIP) size of $3.1 billion.

• Monitored and Controlled cost deliverables to ensure that the targeted key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.
• Performed Cost Estimating (Type 4) during the execution phase to manage site instructions and requisitions.
• Supported the development of the cost framework that led to the delivery of the 3 wells hook up/line bulking at the FYIP Offshore Project.
• Participated in the Cost, Schedule, and Risk Analysis (CSRA) workshop, which gave more clarity to the true position of the estimate at completion (EAC) of the FYIP offshore well hook-up/Line Bulking project.
• Contributed to safe working at sites through HSE engagement and interventions.

Execute phase with a headline size of circa $600m.

• Focused on the issues/actions on the variation register and ensuring that action owners are responsive by closing out on their actions. Eyeballing the cost impacts of the top ten risks in line with their mitigations on the project.
• Championed the claims and invoice reconciliation exercise that led to circa $2m over payment recovery for the project in 2017.
• Championing the booking of Value of Work Done (VOWD) on SAP, creating of purchase requests (PRs), work orders and service entries upon the receipt of work completion certificate (WCC).
• Measuring the cost estimate to complete (ETC) the AGS1 project and forecasting.
• Participated in the weekly Project Controls compliance review team meeting to identify possible project control gaps and application of best practices.
• Participated in the project peer review, to reassure the health of the Otumara/Saghara project KPIs for SPDC.

• Trained on SAP and Primavera 6 for effective project management.
• Designing various cost breakdown structures and updating the cost control register (CCR).
• Claims and interest calculations, Risk and opportunity management.
• Ensured effective working of Cost Control System, sound assessment and reporting of cost Project Status Report (PSR) for pre and post execution phase.
